e) We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
CJLF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. We do not engage in targeted advertising. The only third-party service that receives limited automatically-collected data about your site visit is Google Analytics, which is used solely for understanding site traffic and performance.
We will store your personal information, in a form that permits us to identify you, for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal information was collected. We may retain donor records as required for tax and regulatory compliance purposes. We store your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and rights, or if it is not technically and reasonably feasible to remove it.
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the personal information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us over the Internet.
The Services are not intended to be used by children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the FTC's 2025 amendments to the COPPA Rule, if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have collected your child's personal information, please contact us as outlined below.
We do not control the privacy policies of third parties that have websites linked to the Services.
